Protein Frappuccino

I've been loving these post-workout protein shakes that taste just like Starbucks "frappuccino"s. It has less sugar and way more protein, plus it's easy to make at home!

Protein Powder

My favorite protein powders are Vanilla Vega Sport and ATP Lab Beef in Vanilla (only in Canada). In fact, I love to combine these two!

Of course, you're welcome to use any protein powder you like. Chocolate tastes great, too!

Coffee

I used a double shot of espresso (36g) in this recipe, since we have the luxury of a double boiler espresso machine at home. However, this would taste just as good with cold brew or pour over. Just remove some of the water content if you don't want your drink to be too liquidy.

  1. In your blender, combine protein powder, chia seeds, ice cubes, cold water, and espresso
  2. Start your blender on low. Once the blender is on, add chocolate chips and dates in the center of the vortex. Increase speed and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
